GSI Executive Search was founded by the president, Richard M. Farrell. Prior to establishing GSI, Dick held senior executive positions that spanned an extensive career, which encompassed the club management, the development and management of master planned country club communities and a golf management firm. His extensive leadership experience and career success is a result of laser focus, strong intuitive analysis, outstanding communication skills, and an innate competitive nature. His knowledge of the club industry and professional experience makes him a great fit for developing relationships between clients and potential candidates.
Scott McNett is a Senior Partner of the firm and manages its Midwest office. Scott has a broad base of experience in hospitality executive search and has also served on the boards and committees of several private clubs. Additionally, he has successfully owned and operated private clubs himself. His yea,rs of search experience in hospitality cover all levels and types of key staff positions around the country.
Dan Farrell, CCM, is a Partner of the firm and has an extensive background in the management of platinum level private country clubs with specific focus on providing an exclusive member experiences. Dan's operational expertise brings a unique perspective and understanding to the search process ensuring the right fit for your club. Dan approaches recruiting to assist leaders to develop a better way to improve the club's operation. Whether it is a client struggling to find the perfect leader or a candidate attempting to progress to the next career move, Dan views each search as an opportunity to connect and improve the operation while assisting an individual's career journey. He also currently mentors several young professionals and is an active speaker to CMAA Chapters, Student Chapters and University Hospitality programs serving the club industry.
Ned Welc, CCM, CCE, recently joined the GSI Team and brings an extensive career with over 35 years as an experienced executive in the private club industry. As the world’s leading expert on private club mergers and acquisitions, he is a frequent speaker at numerous industry conferences and offers a full range of private club management and operational consulting services.
Eric Gregory, CCM, is the newest member of the GSI Team and brings an extensive career with over 20 years as a Club Manager, with a wide variety
of club experience with some of the finer clubs throughout the state of
California. As one of the
industry’s leading experts on long-range capital planning and strategies, Eric
frequently conducts training sessions and publishes articles for club
professionals and board members throughout the country.
