Ethos Club & Leisure Acquires GSI Executive Search and Plans Expansion of Firm’s Reach and Services

DALLAS, TEXAS – Ethos Club & Leisure, a real estate advisory and investment firm dedicated to club and leisure assets, has acquired GSI Executive Search, one of the nation’s leading recruitment firms specializing in placements for the private club and hospitality industries.

Moving forward, GSI Executive Search will be headquartered in Dallas, Texas and led by President Robert Jones, a Founding Partner of Ethos Club & Leisure and a 30-plus year veteran of the private club and real estate development industry. Jay Salem will leverage 40-plus years of operations, IT and human resources experience as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, Dallas Addison, Founding Partner of Ethos Club & Leisure and Partner in Addison Law, will assume a leadership role with GSI Executive Search as Managing Director.

Founded more than 20 years ago, GSI Executive Search has provided an array of executive search and placement services for 500-plus private clubs, community associations, hospitality organizations and real estate developers throughout the U.S. Now, as an Ethos Club & Leisure Alliance company, the firm is positioned to offer current and future clients an integrated suite of human capital management, operational consulting and legal advisory solutions in addition to its core executive placement services.

As part of a seamless ownership transition, all current GSI Executive Search Principals are remaining with the firm, and all current searches and services are being provided to clients as contracted without interruption. Additionally, the firm’s unconditional guarantee on all placements will remain in place. Terms of the transaction, which was effective June 17, are not being disclosed.
