Director of Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations for the organization. This critical leadership role drives the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's objectives and values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic goals
  • Overseeing recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Fostering a positive, equitable, and ethical work culture that enhances employee engagement, development, and retention
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Partnering with leadership and managers on talent management, succession planning, and change management
  • Leading HR operations such as payroll, HRIS systems, records management, and reporting
  • Managing employee relations issues and investigations

The ideal Director of HR possesses strong leadership abilities, business acumen, ethics, analytical skills, communication skills, and expertise in all key areas of human resources. Previous experience as head of HR or in a senior HR leadership role is preferred.
