At GSI Executive Search, our tennis experience is enhanced by the former careers of two of our principals in the tennis industry, as well as our long record of success in executive search and placement.
Dick Farrell, GSI President, was formerly the CEO of Bardmoor Properties in the Tampa Bay area. Bardmoor was home to the renowned “Harry Hopman Tennis Academy” for 10 years. Its facilities included 50 tennis courts and a teaching staff of 60 tennis professionals. The clientele included top-ranked professionals to adults and juniors of all levels. Dick served as the senior management representative for the majority ownership group. Scott played tennis in high school and college and owned and operated a leading indoor tennis club in St. Louis for 10 years—South Hampshire Racquet Club. During that time, he served as a board member of the St. Louis District of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) for three years. He has also continued to be involved in tennis by serving actively on Tennis Committees for two private clubs as a member. Finally, he is currently one of the owners of Frontenac Racquet Club in St. Louis, one of the leading indoor tennis clubs in the Midwest.
