Dr. Sharlyn Moore serves as GSI’s Director of Research and Marketing. Her career began in hospitality management with a strong focus on leadership, team building, sales and marketing. As regional director of sales and marketing for Meyer Jabara Hotels, Interstate Hotels and Resorts, and Hilton, she managed multiple hotel and resort properties located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. She has experience in implementing a variety of projects and campaigns that significantly improved sales, marketing and operations.

Before joining the GSI team, Dr. Moore worked for the National Club Association (NCA) where she held the position of director of marketing and membership. During her tenure with NCA, she worked closely with the membership, which consists of some of the top Platinum Clubs in the nation, as well as key leaders in the private club industry.

Dr. Moore attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas for her undergraduate studies in Biology and Psychology and earned her Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. She continues to educate graduate students on a variety of subjects including marketing, management, psychology and research.
