It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Robert Jones, CCM, CCE, ECM, President of GSI Executive Search and Ethos Club & Leisure.
Bob was a visionary leader and a respected figure in the private club industry. He dedicated over 40 years of his career to this field and in doing so, helped shaped its landscape. Through his leadership at GSI Executive Search and as a founding principal of Ethos Club & Leisure, Bob brought his wisdom to every client and colleague he worked with. Bob had the unique ability to make any club, search or program better simply by being a part of it. His depth of knowledge was second to none and his insights were treasures.
Behind the scenes, Bob was dedicated to a singular concept: integrity. In every interaction, he emphasized and ensured that integrity, honesty and respect were foremost. In every sense of the word, Bob was a gentleman.
The entire team at GSI extends our deepest condolences to Bob's family, and to all who had the privilege of knowing him. To know Bob was to know that he treasured his family, as he spoke of them often and warmly.
Bob Jones, with his gift of gab and his big personality, will be remembered fondly. Bob built this company on a foundation of strong values and set us forward on a path that honors hard work, genuine connection and honesty. As we carry his legacy forward, we know Bob will continue to inspire our team and the broader industry for years to come.
